Ukrainian families continue to actively switch to “clean” electricity.

Yes, in the II quarter of the city. p. more than 3 thousand of households installed solar panels with a total capacity of more than 85 MW. This is more than 2 times more than in the first quarter of this year (1,400 families).

In general, as of July 1, 2019, there are already about 12,000 families using solar power plants with a total capacity of about 280 MW. For comparison, at the end of the 3rd quarter of 2015 there were only 130 such families.

The volume of household investments in 280 MW SES reached more than 240 million euros!

TOP-3 oblasts with the largest number of SES installed in households:

– more than 1500 (≈ 40 MW) – Dnipropetrovsk;

– more than 1,200 (≈ 33 MW) – Ternopil;

– more than 1000 (≈ 20 MW) – Kyivska (from the city of Kyiv).

Such a rapid increase in demand for solar panels has been observed since it was developed jointly with #Derzhenergoefficacy and adopted by #Parliament in 2015. Law No. 514-VIII on the introduction of a “green” tariff for SESd with a capacity of up to 30 kW, linked to the euro exchange rate.

In addition, draft law No. 10357, adopted by the Parliament on July 11 of this year, regulates the placement of SESd with a capacity of up to 30 kW at the discretion of the owner (on the roof or on the ground).

Considering that there are 6.5 million households in Ukraine, the potential for the solar panel market is significant.
