Ukraine was able to rise to the 55th position, thanks to “green” energy and attracted investments.

According to the State Energy Efficiency Agency of Ukraine, more than 3.7 billion euros were invested in renewable energy sources in 2019, which allowed our country to add 4,500 MW of “green” capacity.

For comparison, in 2018, our country took 63rd place, but in 2019, we proudly take 55th place among countries in which renewable energy is actively developing.
The implemented projects made it possible to increase the power of “green” energy by 3 times, up to 6.3 GW, which made it possible to provide electric energy to more than 3.3 million households.

At the same time, in connection with the rapid development of renewable energy, work is underway to solve the issue of balancing and implementing energy storage systems, taking into account world practice.

We remind you that already in April 2020, the first auctions are planned, the main purpose of which is to lower the cost of “clean” energy for consumers and increase competition between investors.
