Solar power plant in North Macedonia with a capacity of 17 MW

17 MW – the most powerful solar power plant in North Macedonia, Amzabigovo has become a real star among our projects this year.

Solar Steel Construction performed a full range of turnkey works:

  • Designing a solar power plant
  • Production of fastening systems from structural hot-dip galvanized steel SMS-212, SMS-212L
  • Supply of all necessary equipment (photomodules, cables, etc.) to the facility.
  • Pile driving and complex installation of the station with its connection were carried out.

The power plant consists of 31,772 solar panels covering an area of 300,000 m² with a nominal installed capacity of 17 MW and a projected production of 25,000 MWh of green energy per year.

This capacity can provide clean electricity to more than 5,500 Macedonian families. The plant was officially launched with the participation of the Prime Minister of the country, accompanied by the Minister of Economy of North Macedonia.

Project by project, we are moving closer to European energy independence. We pay special attention to large-scale ground-based solar power plants and are constantly working on new and innovative solutions in the field of solar energy.

We are grateful for the trust of GEN-I SONCE.
