SOLARsk — EPC Contractor | 220+ MW of Solar Power Plants in Ukraine

In 2025, SOLARsk Implemented Over 220 MW of Solar Power Plants in Ukraine as an EPC Contractor

In 2025, SSK significantly strengthened its position in the market by implementing more than 220 MW of solar power plants across Ukraine. These include primarily ground-mounted solar farms as well as several industrial rooftop projects for self-consumption — solutions that help businesses reduce energy costs and maintain operations even during scheduled power outages.

Company CEO Yevhen Yaremenko emphasizes:

For over 13 years, we have been developing technologies that are transforming Ukraine’s energy sector. Our focus is to provide clients with a fully comprehensive service and take responsibility for every stage of a project — from engineering to installation and commissioning.

Why the Solar Market Grew Significantly in 2025

Market activity has clear economic and technological drivers:

  • A substantial reduction in the cost of photovoltaic modules, making solar plants more affordable.
  • Rising electricity prices and the attractiveness of the Day-Ahead Market, encouraging businesses to build their own generation.
  • A surge of interest in energy storage systems, which allow producers to sell electricity during peak-price hours.
  • Active development of the Ancillary Services market, opening new revenue streams for solar plants.

SOLARsk strengthened its strategic focus on turnkey EPC solutions. Thanks to 13 years of expertise, in-house engineering capabilities, equipment fleet, and experienced installation teams, we significantly enhanced our position in the EPC segment and expanded the geography of construction from the south to the west of Ukraine.

Inspiring projects worth talking about

The First 1 MW Solar Tracker System

SOLARsk successfully implemented its first full-scale commercial project based on the company’s own tracking technology. This marked an important milestone in product development and proved the tracker’s readiness for large-scale deployment in Ukraine and abroad.

Ukraine’s Largest Solar Carport — UNIT.City, 1.4 MW

In 2025, the company completed a solar carport at the UNIT.City innovation park. This is the largest facility of its kind in Ukraine and one of the most technically challenging projects from an engineering standpoint.

Ground-Mounted Solar Plant “Dibrova,” 12.5 MW

“Dibrova” represents a model of rapid, well-coordinated construction of a large-scale solar farm. The client set an ambitious requirement: to complete the entire station — including design, manufacturing, logistics, and installation — in just 3.5 months.

Construction Director Andrii Melnyk notes:

Our installation teams are a crew that has completed hundreds of megawatts in various conditions. When all key processes — from manufacturing to installation — take place within the company, we can guarantee both quality and deadlines. This is our greatest asset.

In 2026, we plan to strengthen our presence across Ukraine and beyond, implementing new technologies and large-scale projects. According to analysts’ forecasts, Ukraine’s renewable energy market will continue its dynamic growth — and we aim to remain at the forefront of this development.
