First Step in Agri-Photovoltaics SOLARsk

🌿⚡ First Step in Agri-Photovoltaics: SOLARsk Develops Its Own Mounting System for the Agricultural Sector

The symbiosis of nature and technology is now a reality — and SOLARsk supports it with in-house innovations.

We are proud to announce that SOLARsk has designed and manufactured its first-ever mounting system for an agri-PV station, created specifically for the Organela organic farm in Serbia.

This is not just a technical solution — it’s a strategic entry into a new segment for us: agrivoltaics.

🔧 Our First Agri-Mounting System: APV-111-EW

For this pilot project, we delivered:

  • Custom-designed APV-111-EW mounting structure, tailored for agricultural production
  • 📊 Project specs:
    – 48 PV modules of 460 W each
    – System capacity: 22.08 kW
    – Structure weight: 1,578 kg

This solution enables effective placement of solar panels above crops without hindering farming operations or soil access.

For us, this project is an important engineering milestone and the beginning of a new direction.

🌱 What We Offer the Agricultural Sector

Our product line already includes:
Mounting structures for solar greenhouses
PV-integrated fences (energy + protection)
Custom solutions for agricultural land and farms

📈 Why Do Farmers Need Solar?

Agrivoltaics is a smart response to modern challenges:

  • Reduce dependence on the grid and lower electricity costs
  • Generate extra income from surplus solar energy
  • Increase resilience during energy crises
  • Provide partial shading — protecting crops from heat and wind

🔍 Global studies show that agrivoltaic systems can increase crop yields by 10–15%, thanks to better moisture retention in the soil.

🇺🇦 Agrivoltaics in Ukraine: Market Outlook

Despite current restrictions on placing solar plants on agricultural land, demand is growing for greenhouse-mounted, fence-integrated, and overhead PV systems.

The market is just emerging — and we are ready to offer reliable, locally manufactured engineering solutions.
