40 DAYS – ANOTHER SOLAR STEEL CONSTRUCTION RECORD

“Time is money” could become the motto of the SOLAR STEEL CONSTRUCTION company, which, thanks to the coordinated work of designers, management and construction departments, implemented the 7.1 MW Zlatopolska-2 project in record time – 40 days.

Key technical characteristics of the facility:

The panel capacity is 7.1 MW

Type of Jinko panels – JKM385M 385 W, total quantity – 18,480 pcs.

Type of inverters – Huawei Sun2000-100KTL-M1, total number – 59 pcs.

The estimated annual generation of “green” electricity is 8,427 MW/h

Social significance for the region:

• 12 new jobs for the community
• About 750 thousand UAH of annual tax payments to the local budget and more than 4 mln. per year to the central budget

“Our company prepared for the implementation of this project for about two months. Back in December 2019. the General Contracting Agreement was signed, and all the main equipment was purchased in March-April 2020. Before embarking on a project with such record deadlines, we carefully assessed the risks: financial and reputational, calculated our production capabilities and … accepted this challenge. The goals for 2021 are more ambitious. The main task is to become even stronger than we are and more resistant to external challenges, says Yevhen Kornilov, deputy director of business development at Solar Steelconstruction LLC. – After all, today our company has entered the markets of the near abroad and must gain a reputation in the “foreign” territory.”

At the moment, the entire complex of construction and installation works has been completed at the site, commissioning works are being carried out, as well as the external connection of the station to the networks of PrJSC “Kirovogradoblenergo”. The planned start of operation of the station is September 1, 2020. In the future, the installation of storage systems for the accumulation of energy generated for the facility’s own balancing is planned at the station.
