The smell of cooking fire, songs with a guitar, tents, rafting on rough water, new experiences and friends – this is how the weekend of the most active SOLARians passed, who together with their families went to the Nikolaev region to explore the most beautiful river – Pivdenny Bug. Active leisure is one of our favorite hobbies, so this time a wonderful company gathered for the rafting.
After arrival at the camp, we played volleyball, threw frisbee, cooked evening barbecue, sang the songs with a guitar, talked around the fire and spent the night in tents.
We met the dawn of the next day with a morning swim in the river, had a bite to eat and, charged for success, went to learn how to manage rafts. When the training was completed and the paddles were taken, the raft caravan left the camp and started off!
It is difficult to put into words the incredible beauty of the Pivdenny Bug’s banks. Oh, we didn’t even think that it was so beautiful and picturesque there, huge stone boulders, a clean, rushing river, rustling and foaming at turns and rifts. We were actively rowing, swimming, bungee jumping, enjoying our rest.
Everyone who comes to the Pivdenny Bug knows about the Radon Lake – it’s clear water of stunning color and sunset of indescribable beauty. And this lake was next to our raft camp!
Three eventful days were very bright and fun. Thanks to all the participants for such a cool trip!
